Program Areas

  • Housing

    Virgin Islands is experiencing a housing crisis. Vacancy rates are at an all time low, while rent and mortages are their highest point in over 10 years. in the aftermath of the 2017 hurricanes Irma and Maria, over 30% of homes were damaged and many, 6 years later await repairs.

  • Elder Care

    In 2023, Virgin Islanders over 65 years of age accounted for 20.9% of the total population. With the rapid growth of out aging population, there is a need for resources and programs that support the health, safety and comfort of this population.

  • Mental Health

    According to the USVI Department of Health, 5.2 of USVI residents self-report depression. In addition, among USVI men, the rate of suicide is 17.5% of eery 100,000.

    CVS provides programming & support to the aim of suicide prevention. Annually we host events to bring awareness on International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day
